Breanna on Echo 2005
Echo - 1989
Grade Black Tobiano Pony
Conlon Paint Horses
is pleased to share pictures of this smashing pony mare with everyone. Echo is owned
by a neighbouring family of ours, Terry and Rosie Forget. They had sold her 1 1/2
years ago and found out
recently she was badly foundered and in desperate need of hoof care. They arranged to get
her back. They called
us and asked if we could help. We said YES!! Echo was delivered by her neglectful owner to
our ranch where she
is now the happy recipient of hoof care, deworming and all the grooming and love any pony
could ever want!!

| I know this picture is very
upsetting, but I feel it should be shared. The injustice done to this lovely pony mare was
a real crime. We are very happy Echo is here now to enjoy her 'dates' with our friend and
farrier, Ian Freeman. Updated pictures of Echo's new hooves will
be coming soon!! She has been trimmed and is feeling much better now, the adjustments on
her tendons and ligaments has been kinda' hard. She has had leg soakings (cold and tepid
temps) which she does not fancy and liniments with massages which she
fancies very much!! Echo is no spring chicken anymore...she deserves to be pampered now!! Echo had her teeth floated on May 24th, '05 and is doing very well. Thanks Dr. Trent Wennekamp from the Lloydminster Animal Hospital! Echo lived with a wonderful family for many years, we are truly honoured to have her reside here now!! Echo is smart, funny and above all adorable!!! =0) Check back to this page for updates as Echo becomes more sound with lots of soft footing and light flatwork...ok... I am just walking her and keeping her on the soft grass she wants to graze so badly! I am getting quite a right arm on me from tugging her darling little head up!! =0) |
